We are getting married at the Lily Barn in Townsend, TN. It is located about 30 minutes from the Knoxville Airport (McGhee-Tyson Airport - TYS) and about 20 minutes from the heart of Maryville. The location offers beautiful grounds, wonderful Southern catering, and of course, our awesome wedding. The fall colors should be wonderful at this location this time of year.

Below you will find some links to some places where you might take up residence for the weekend. There prices will vary depending on preference. The places range from a simple lodge near the wedding location to high scale cabins for rent by owners. All of these places will be a short car ride from the wedding location.

Valley View Lodge is probably the most economic choice. It's not exactly the Four Seasons but it's a good place to rest your head and get dressed for the events. The greatest advantage of this location is it is the closest to the wedding location

Dancing Bear Lodge and BlackBerry Farm are also close to the wedding location but are a bit more expensive than the valley view lodge, however the facilities are a bit nicer.

The Preserve Resort and Laural Valley are relatively close to the wedding location and are in the middle price range.

Old Smoky Mountain Cabins is a cabin rental agency that can put you in a more secluded location in the Smokies, however perhaps further away from the wedding location.
Tremont offers cabins and camping for all you outdoor enthusiasts. For those of you that don't like nature, you might want to avoid these two.

This site offers vacation rentals by owner. Mostly upscale cabins in the general area of the wedding. If you decide to pursue one of these properties, be sure to contact the owner to verify it's proximity to The Lily Barn in Townsend. Some owners will advertise "minutes away from attractions" but the cabin might be on the other side of Pigeon Forge (almost an hour away depending on traffic).

If you prefer to stay in a more standard hotel and want to stay "in town" (Maryville, that is), any of the three places above will suit your needs. The options will be about 20-30 minutes from the wedding location, depending on rush hour traffic in downtown Maryville (that was a joke). Casey has stayed in each of these hotels before he lived in TN but traveled there regularly and can vouch for each of these locations. The Hilton is the nicest.

It is recommended that you stay either in Townsend or Maryville so that you'll be relatively close to the ceremony. Below you will find general directions and the address of the Lily Barn. It is recommended that you use a computer to get driving directions from your individual hotel/lodge/cabin once you have secured such a place.
